I've spent the last weeks preparing the RV for a trip. I had a pretty long list of things I *thought* I really needed, like dishes, silverware, towels and soap. Now that I actually have the RV, the list has grown ... The left side ( as you are standing at the foot of the bed) lifts and gives access to one of the storage bays. The right side lifts and exposes the water tank, water pump, and a rats nest of wiring and plumbing. You may have to remove a few screws to lift that section. It sounds like you have a mix of Mercedes issues and Thor issues. Not sure if the water pump problem was for engine cooling or the fresh water tank but the ignition and O2 sensor issues are Mercedes problems.

I have a 2020 SV34 as well and the batteries come out but it is a tight fit through the step opening. You can actually put 4 batteries in there but it is a very, very, very tight fit. First, make sure you have the step open as far as you can. Use a bungee cord to keep it open. You then need to remove all of the battery cables.
