I hook up my OBDII scanner and it doesn't pop any codes. I'm afraid it's something in the wiring.The Throttle Plate/ Bore Inspection might be worth a look. If it keeps going back into limp mode the trans electronics are probably glitched and the TCM is the first component I'd check. Unfortunately, this will take a dealer to correct.

You might also check the TCM (Transmission Control Module) It can be reset by taking it out for a while and putting it back in. It might also be burned out from the battery mix up.
