Destiny 2 preservation mission.
The destiny raid experience has turned into a mode that requires all six players doing their part just right. It makes for a good day one raid race, but scares a lot of people off. The fact that you can't find a group to do it in game probably keeps 25% of the players from attempting it.

You need to have completed the Vow of the Disciple raid, or at least the host member of your fireteam has to have it completed and they can ferry you into the mission. It's really silly that the game doesn't tell you this. It can give you the quest but not allow you to complete it. this isn't correct.
