Best way to get black pearls is probably killing tuso and alpha mosa on the island but those are also hard if you’re not at end game level resources to start with. Or euypterids if you can find them if you’re earlier on. We’ve beaten the brood mother gamma and beta and are trying to get a tek replicator.

There are tons of trilobites which drop silica pearls and black pearls. white and blue rocks in the water (not the white and black oil rocks) can also give you silica pearls. you also need silica pearls for yuty saddles for bosses.
