Adoption Procedures. When you are ready to adopt, the LRAV policy is first come, first served, meaning that you cannot reserve an animal for adoption. The Animal Village will be open on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of March, April and May for this registration. The requirements and documents needed for registration are: Proof of Spay or Neuter (or Veterinarian documentation of medical condition that would not allow sterilization) Photo with owner will be taken at the Animal Village. The Animal Village is located at 4500 Kramer Street next to First Tee, off of South University. The Animal Village's business hours are Mon-Fri 8-5 . Friends of the Animal Village is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 that provides supplemental support to the shelter.
