1 post · Joined 2014. #16 · Jan 11, 2016. took our 23 month old Crosstrek in to Hassett Subaru in Wantagh NY after the check engine light and traction control lights came on, and as with everyone else, the cruise control was blinking. Thought there may have been a slight throttle issue but we didn't use it much for a few days.

Could be anything from a loose gas cap to catastrophic failure. Any auto parts store will read the code for you for free. 4.2020 Outback, check engine light on. Turning off the car for a few minutes and restarting is only a temporary solution until the lights reappear.
