Raft is still under development , at least until the second chapter is released in early fall. stranded deep has a more realistic feel and graphics as compared to Raft. Stranded deep resources are limited, there is no such thing as respawn resources in stranded deep except 1 or 2 things.The base will snap to any other bases. It's really obvious when this is the case. The best way to build a raft is to make a "drydock" of sorts. Basically, just make a bunch of foundations and build your raft on that. Tires,barrels, and buoys are basically only for creating a raft other than a couple things. Kind of a bonus tip but keep your movement while sailing to a minimum. You can try but more than likely you are not going to catch that raft if you go for a swim. Put the sail within reach of the rudder.

You've probably got to break the pieces that are supported by your raft first, like the sails, rudder and anchor first. It's a bit of a pain but you get all the material back from destroying those items so you won't lose cloth or rocks. GenerikB ( a youtuber who's currently doing a Lets Play) has a huge raft around 7x6 and it has flipped a few times. so it would take Alot of bases to make it unflippable. And a side note, the bigger the raft is, it will be harder to steer and turn.
