Looks like you can also disable it though.Then I tried to use it, and took me a few tries to get it right (as I mentioned above). To lock it, open driver door, press lock button, then both lock and rear unlock on the FOB to disable FOB. Close door. Now the only way to open it is with the PIN at the back, so don't forget that number.

As someone who has broken wheel locks before (when asked by the customer who had lost their key while working at a tire shop), wheel locks are a deterrent. They can be broken, but it will take more time and effort than a regular lug nut. Only thieves that know how to break them will be successful.
