Right now after rebate and discounts the price difference between the 211 and 215 is $130 (which I'll gladly pay for the upgraded display). The Millermatic® 211 MIG welder with Advanced Auto-Set™ is a multi-voltage, 230 amp portable MIG welder that runs on both 120 volt and 240 volt input power. The inverter design of the Millermatic 211 means it draws less power, has a superior welding arc and weighs up to 40% less than other MIG welders in its class.Lincoln Power MIG 210, the Miller 211 has an impressive duty cycle. Some might consider the Miller 211 better in this aspect. The 80% at 100 amperes and 19.8v with the 120V duty cycle plus the 20% at 200 amperes and 21.5V with the 240V input power make it a worthy opponent to the Lincoln Power MIG.The 211i was like $1326 to my door with a free helmet, the Miller Multimatic was going to be $2138 with the tig kit. I also tried to go the route of a stand alone mig, and buying a seperate dc-tig machine but it just was not happening for under $2000 with an American manufacturer.. This 211i machine is made in China, I do not like that.

Hi, I'm a welding novice....very, very novice and am researching which MIG welder makes sense to purchase. I'm looking at the MIGWELD 200S and the Millermatic 211. Can someone school me on how the 200S can achieve a 60% duty @ 200A/24V versus the 211's 30% duty @ 150A/23.5V? So then I went to a small town LWS where the lone sales guy claims to know little about welding. He said this: 1. Voltage is changed in C100 vs C25. 2. Wire feed is also changed. C100 is a hotter process variant, and adjustments are necessary to make the program modes in the welders have reasonably accurate auto set.

The Lincoln power mig 211i is the best bang for the $. Miller makes good equipment but the Miller is no better than the comparable Lincoln. I have Miller welders and if I were to buy a stand alone mig of this size I would buy the Lincoln. You can buy a gas cylinder and some accessories and still come out ahead over the Miller.

The 211i might have a wee edge in output power and so the max input should be a bit more. The Lincoln manual does say "The Power MIG 210 MP features active power factor correction (>.98) which greatly reduces the unit's current draw". Hello all, I am new here and looking to upgrade my Lincoln 175 HD. I have been looking at the Hobart 210, and the Miller 211. I know they are very similiar machines, owned by the same company. Miller has a good sale going on now which is making me lean towards the 211. When comparing the specs I noticed that the Hobart 210 has a much higher wire speed 60-770 vs, Miller 211 @ 60-460 IPM.
