Star Wars: KOTOR Remake Can Fix The Original's First Mistake. Admiral Thrawn is a subtler character than Revan, lacking Force sensitivity and entering the Galactic Empire during the height of its xenophobia against non-human species. KOTOR fans may argue that this makes Revans turn less impactful, as it wasn't 'his' choice. But I disagree. Revan were already headed toward that dark path. Vitiate only sped it up.(SPOILER KOTOR1) Just like Malak only 'sped up' Bastila's turn to the dark side. They take place thousands of years before A New Hope, but for the most part the aesthetics are right in line with the original trilogy/prequels. I really like how Tales of the Jedi tried to feel really ancient. When The Old Republic is explored in canon, if it ever is, I hope they adopt this approach rather then take inspiration from KotOR.

Outside of that I would argue that the complete jedi training of every single trainable character would be canon. They are after all the last remains of the Jedi after the Exile leaves at the end of Kotor 2.The obvious reasoning behind not making it canon are 1) remain true to the games story. If they changed it up too much it wouldn't be the same story and 2) leaves the door open for canon material in the future,like if they ever make a Kotor trilogy & don't want to be hamstrung by the game
In my opinion KOTOR 2 has the best romance subplot in any game of recent memory. The reason being that there really wasn't one but you could tell there was a sexual tension between the characters but the reasoning behind it with the writing is whats truly exceptional.
