Sometimes visually identical ones will do this with other perks, like boil over, decisive strike etc. it didn’t bother me that they do it because it’s a valid tactic, but so is leaving them there. It will now add 33% of your present wiggle progress instead of just giving you a flat 25% bonus to the meter. That means if you have 10% on your wiggle meter when the killer drops it will only increase to about 13%.

Boil Over and Flip Flop don't increase your wiggling speed, it takes 16 seconds to wiggle free unless the killer is using Iron Grasp (at which point your wiggle speed is reduced to 17.9 seconds) or a survivor is using Breakout (at which point your wiggle speed is increased to 13.3 seconds.). If you do get full value out of Flip Flop, it'll reduce the time taken to wiggle …This is why Boil Over got a nerf.
