I took the battery out and put a meter to it and it was reading .95v, it should have been around 3v.With a fresh battery in place and the sight screwed back, it was time to zero. Problem solved. You have to completely remove the optic to change the battery. Basically, you can't replace the battery without then needing to re-zero. You'll never get the thing on in exactly the same place. I purchased a new P365X slide with the suppressor height sights and the romeo zero elite sight this past summer and had to replace the original battery after about 3 months. Replaced it with an energizer battery in October and the sight has already died again.
