Rubico Prime was good for Eidolon hunting before necramechs existed (and still is good). Some people still don't have a necramech. Some people have a system that works and don't feel like changing it. Either way is fine. Voidrig ia good for the final part, it can't reliably hit Synovias like Rubico.

Depends on the task. As others already stated, for Eidolon hunts it's largely useless to put galvanized mods because you're not killing a bunch of things but rather focusing on one target at a time.
