Thanks. Pat. I have a 1952 215 cid I6 in my truck, and I would say yours is a 215 as well. I believe the valve cover changed in 1953, and in 1954, the displacement increased to 223 cid. My engine is painted light green and the valve cover is dark green. The battery for my engine is on the distributor side of the engine.
