Econ 420 was always known as a easy one, but there will be a new professor. Econ 450 was easy if you are good with memorizing concepts, however it was incredibly dull. Econ 483 was similar to Econ 450, just memorizing with a dull grad student as your professor. 2.Generally, my schedule was 9-11 work, 11-3 class, 3-6 work, work 9-5 weekends. I was OK with it. First summer term starts right after spring graduation and lasts about four weeks. Second term starts the week after that and goes until the end of July/beginning of August. As for hours, the max is 9 (at least in LAS).

The three electives I took were: CS410 (Text Information Systems): Very, very easy class. Weekly quizzes that don't take that much time to study for, a handful of MPs that were more or less solved on Piazza posts, and a really laidback group project. Professor Zhai and the TAs were really friendly too. Luckily at UIUC for CS its easy to get exempt from the writing requirement and the gen ed requirements can be filled by certain really easy classes that just throw As at the students.
