I have the lss and the lss-xl both on howa long actions The 3.715 mags are fine for the 270 but not for something with big bullets. I also have an APO saber short action and sold a bravo with another rifle. The bravo and MDT xrs will make a better cold-weather platform if you shoot through the winter as I do.

They are both excellent stocks, very well made and use good magazines. Given MDT's rapidly growing reputation for good design, excellent manufacturing and good value, its magazines may eventually challenge the current AICS 'standard' role in this market. The KRG is a bit lighter and a bit more expensive than the Oryx.

However, you should be focused on rifle balance and how the foreend can be adapted for your standing position and your body type. While I don’t have any experience with the MC3. Not a huge fan of the Magpul but I really like the Bravo. It’s a base model $350 stock/chassis. With the addition of a lot of KRG support for the Bravo, it also has the ability to be a $700 + setup. The recoil lug also floated on the Howa inlet which always made me nervous. The lack of simple options to increase the weight or add simple things like an ARCA ... The palm swell of the grip is smaller and distance from the front of the vertical grip to the trigger is shorter than the Bravo.
