I drew 4 random straight lines on a map and I followed them and then followed 4 ley lines (2 I plotted myself and 2 from Ley Line king, Alfred Watkins), all were roughly the same length. I did find a lot more things (wells, earthworks etc) on the Leys than on the random lines.
