Nov 12, 2015 · Looking for the good and bad of a John Deere 1790 planter. Looking at a 16/31 so that I can get down to one planter. Would also want to put a tank on it for starter, am worried about the weight on the main planter with the the starter and the seed tanks.

We had 1780 12/23 that we used for beans only for quite a while and it did a fine job, for the money that they are asking for them I think it would be a good move for a bean only planter.
