It look like you can take the 2 screws out the hold the pump in and remove the pump. Now take the gear #22 off and reinstall the pump. Unfortunately Merc does not make a cover for the hole when you remove the pump so it must be put back in to seal that hole. Mix your fuel 50:1.

It was a 1990 Merc 135 V-6 that was about to have an oil drive gear failure. We ditched the metal drive gear and installed the EOI-C system. It uses the same oil pump and warning system, but uses an electric motor to run the pump.Trace the wires from the back of the VRO to its rubber plug (electrical plug) and disconnect it. 2 - Trace the two wires from the oil tank to the engine, disconnect those two wires, then remove them and the oil tank. 3 - Mix the 50/1 oil in the proper amount with whatever quantity fuel you have. Disconnect the fuel line at the engine.
I want to delete the oil injection and I see where several have installed a kit on this forum but do not know where to order.
