Brooklyn FO: EB I-485 approval time after medical RFE. I received my medical RFE - Form I-693 from the USCIS Brooklyn FO. This was mailed on Aug 11th, I got it in hand on Aug 15th and mailed back the response to USCIS which they received on Aug 19th. I have not seen any updates on myAccount for my Case status however.So say your i485 is pending for 6 months but the average time for the FO is 18 months. 18-6 is 12. Your waiting time can be anything between 2-4 weeks and 12 months. In my case the FO took 6 months to process my i485 after I sent them the medicals. Same boat! Haven't received approval yet but my status was updated to 'RFE response received'.

Hello, I am 03/31/2021 I-485 Marriage-Based Filer. I recently moved to another state, and my case got also transferred. Today, I received a mail from my field office, and It is an RFE due to not submitting the I-673, Medical Exam Form with the I-485.. I thought I could bring it on the day of the interview, and my previous field office only required to bring it to the interview.

My category is F2A, the I-130 priority date is June 2020, the I-485 was submitted in November 2021, I received the USCIS RFE (I-693) in February 2023, and responded to USCIS on March 7 of the same year. The I-693 has not had any update status yet.
