Interestingly enough, I attended a talk by the lead artist of Darkest Dungeon and apparently the way he used black color was something he picked up from Batman comics.Solid 7/10. I haven't used Marika hammer in a boss yet because I don't really have any bosses left on this playthrough but damage wise it seems pretty on par with other boss weapons at +9/+10. I've only tested it on enemies in Haligtree but yeah, seems decent for sure.Serpent Hunter I think is best used paired with a heavy Lance for the dual moveset, lets you put a usable ash of war on that while double poking. Serpent Hunter does solid damage, so pairing it with a buffable lance with a variable skill means no need to micromanage the offhand. Originally, when I finished the game, I thought " oh maybe Elden beast killed Marika's soul as punishment and now Radagon is the only one remaining in that body".
