I was wondering what area is the best place to build I’m currently lvl 32 and am looking to make a permanent base. I'd say the green north (north-west of the map) around new asgarth is a good general spot, but there are usually many bases already. Ressource rich, good thrall farm and you can get anywhere on foor relatively fast from there. The bobcats give thick hide, and at the dungeon you have easy access to Black Ice, Brimstone and Crimson Lotus, as well as all the gossamer and silk from the spiders at that dungeon. Siptah is much much easier from a resource perspective with things like Black Ice, Star Metal and Brimstone easily being found without strict weather conditions. 4. Planning on a nice big base but want to situate it in a great location. Primary concerns are: I’m not using creative mode, so need ready access to building resources; secondary concern is nice open geography; tertiary is pleasant views and attractive terrain.Best part is, you can get there quite easily (some spiders, like 3 or 4 over the whole trip, but getting a bow first is an option and then that's really no issue) very early on. As you're a new player, your main base should be in an area that will experience level 1 or 2 purges, for now. That means the south desert and the river east to the jungle. You can always build a bigger one later, after you have some experience and materials stored up. I think priority one should be to be near an obelisk.Fill up your inventory and pull your bracelet and spawn at the other place, empty your inventory in chests and pull your bracelet again to spawn back over at the other base.
