Three corners of the Trafalgar Square have had permanent statues fixed on them since the 1800s. I found it very interesting that the fourth plinth was created but left empty because there were no funds left for it. The statue Ig King William IV was supposed to be installed there. So for 150 this corner had no permanent exhibit on it’s pedestal.
