Vanderbilt is not any harder than its peer institutions regarding grade deflation or risking a lower GPA in my opinion. That said, don't attend Vanderbilt unless you are ready to work very very hard because the faculty pitches classes to classrooms of strong learners daily and they expect you to be disciplined.I was wondering if any of those colleges would have grade deflation. Things looked bad right around 2008 when employment took a pretty big hit, but that coincided with the recession. The numbers now look a lot like they did before the grade deflation was implemented.
