The problem with a lot of weapons like the Burston in its normal mode is that it generally only kills one enemy at a time (or maybe a couple more with punch-through), and that's just super inefficient (and sometimes, ineffective) for a lot of what you need to do in Warframe, which is lay waste to dozens of enemies. The Burston Prime is terrible compared to the Braton Prime for a variety of reasons. Starting with the fact that its a burst weapon. The rate of fire is hardcapped for each bullet. Fire rate controls how fast you can fire BUT OH WAIT, that's hardcapped to limit macro spam. So the max RoF you can achieve is 10.0 on the Burston Prime.
