EVERYONE that has bought one will tell you that it is the cat’s nuts way to adjust SBC hydraulic lifters. I stock the tall version of an Adjust-A-Cover and it costs $35 plus shipping.

May 17, 2011 · Start by making sure lifter is on low step of camshaft- valve completely closed. Tighten nut on rocker arm while spinning pushrods with 2 fingers. When pushrods stops spinning while tightening rocker arm nut go ahead and tighten down another 1/2 to 3/4 turns. Vale is adjusted. Continue on and do all the valves this way.
